(Guideline Ranges)

Pricing is based on the volume of stitching required to complete your piece, not time spent. The ranges below are provided as a guide - a firm quote is issued following a physical assessment. 

Technical considerations

Most projects fall within standard cotton Aida stitching. Some designs require additional expertise and handling due to fabric choice, stitch type or materials. Where applicable, these are reflected in your final quote and are confirmed before any work begins. 

• Artisan Complexity (+10%)

Fractional stitches, half-stitches, or backstitching.

• Master Complexity (+30%)

Fine or dark fabrics, metallic or specialty threads, blended floss, beading, or high- confetti designs.

(Applied only where relevant and confirmed prior to work commencing.)

Studio fees & logistics

• Technical Setup and Digital Project Journal - Included 

Technical setup, pattern mapping, tension alignment, and creation of your private Digital Project Journal are included as part of the minimum engagement and project pricing.

This includes recorded unboxing and progress photography through the process. 

• Materials

Existing threads are assessed where possible. Replacement floss (DMC or Anchor) is supplied as required and billed at cost plus a small handling fee.

• Shipping & Handling - Price to be confirmed. Based on the size and weight of your piece and urban or rural delivery.

Completed pieces are returned via tracked, signature-required courier within New Zealand. We recycle the shipping packaging the piece was received in (provided it’s in good condition) to reduce added costs where possible.

• Local Pickup & Drop-Off (Christchurch) - Free within Christchurch City. 

For clients located within the Christchurch area, a local pickup and return service is available. This service covers both collection and return of your piece and is arranged at a mutually agreed time and location.

Pick up and drop-off are conducted off-site. As the studio operates from a private residence, in-person visits are currently not available.
